The tour begins in Lhasa where you will acclimatize and tour the highlights of the Tibetan capital. Next, you drive to Tsedang visiting Samye en-route and then on to Gyangtse stopping for a visit at the Khumbum Stupa. The next destination is Shigatse where you visit Shalu and Tashilumpo monastery on the way before driving on to Shegar the next day. After an overnight stay, you drive to Rongbuk from where you visit the Rongbuk Monastery and go on an excursion to the Everest Base Camp. The next two days you drive on scenic highways to Tingri and Zhangmu before continuing to Kathmandu.
